Watermelons are a great summer food and this crush too does just that providing you with ample nutrition and refreshing you in the process. Rejuvenate yourself any time of the year.
Preparation time: 10 minutes
One watermelon, cut into pieces(chilled)
One fresh lime,
Pinch of salt,
For the Garnish:
Mint leaves, finely chopped
A slice of lemon
Chop watermelon pieces into medium sizes. Remove the seeds as they can make your crush taste bitter. Mash the watermelon a little to make blending easy. Blend the pieces but make sure not to blend them too fine. Keep the mix a bit coarse. Add lime juice and salt to taste. Add a pinch of sugar, if preferred. Add ice cubes and give it a quick whip. If the consistency is too thick, add a little water. However, make sure not to puree it. Pour into cocktail glasses. Garnish with a mint leave. Place a lemon slice on the rim of the glass. Serve chilled.
