workout and nutrition

Many things have been written about exercise and good health. Numerous studies have shown that regular and determined exercise helps reduce weight and more so fat. What is more interesting is that you can see the results and it is a great motivation to keep working out..Imagine a body like a glamorous star and everyone’s envy!!!

Having said that, nutrition before and after your workout can determine the way your body can look. Body weight is a common terminology which encompasses weights of our bones, organs, water, muscle tissue and then fat. So not necessarily weight loss is healthy. For all you know, you are happily losing water and muscle as you workout.

What is a way out of this dilemma??

Not every gym would have a body composition analyzer to tell you how much fat loss and muscle loss has happened post workout. But following some tips you can be rest assured about FAT LOSS and not MUSCLE LOSS.

    1. Always keep sipping water in between your Workout sets. This will ensure you don’t lose body water and get dehydrated
    2. Pre workout snack is very important. Low fat steamed/cooked snack or simply a fruit (Apple/papaya) can save the day and also precious muscle for you
    3. Always replenish precious water and energy post workout. Energy providing foods can again be fruits/dry fruits like dates or anjeer or any other simple sugar. BEWARE HIGH INTAKE CAN HELP YOU GAIN MANY OF THE CALORIES YOU JUST BURNT.

    4. Then comes the time to pamper your sore muscles with some protein. As seen from an earlier article, Wheat germ can be a good option along with eggs or other protein rich snack post workout. BELIEVE ME YOUR MUSCLE WILL THANK YOU A LOT IF IT COULD SPEAK.

This will help all you young readers wishing to have an envious body like a popular DABANGG actor and for the women folk, it will help keep off that unsightly fat.

GO AHEAD GUYS…HAPPY SNACKING AND WORKING OUT

      Hello Govind
Yes brisk walking will do the trick for people who dont have access to any gym or people who are disabled to do full fledged activity but walking essentially is cardio only. For optimum results you must also weight train your muscles. this will help you burn much more calories over a long period of time. so a healthy mix of both is important. Walking can always bean added workout
