Water Melon can be eaten directly after discarding its thick rind and seeds. Its juice can be taken. One can consume the juice in fairly large quantities which provides the body with more nutrients.

The juice gives relief to abdominal troubles and it has a cooling effect on the burning sensation in the stomach. As it is diuretic , it is beneficial to kidney and bladder disorders. It is chiefly used for giving cooling effect on the body

In the scorching sun in summer days, nothing is more soothing and enjoyable than the juice of water melon.
