I have inquired Wheatgerm in Niligiries , But I didn’t found over there , &I placed an order to Hodgson’s mill also using Credit card . I didn’t received so far.
I have enquired for Wheat germ and wheat germ oil in Nilgiris, Namdhari’s in Bangalore. But none of them have this oil. Nilgiris has a non edible oil form in small quantity which can be used for external application. I have tried searching in google but i did not find any.

Wheat germ is not the same as germinated wheat. Germination is nothing but sprouting. Wheat germ is the embryo or the inner most part of whole wheat. It is very good for overall health for both hair and skin. You need to eat enough protein too as hair is nothing but protein.
Germination is done by soaking while wheat germ is obtained on breaking open the wheat grain and is the inner most part of the wheat grain.

Bagrry’s and Aims in India make wheat bran from germinated wheat. It is more healthy and more nutritious than bran made from milling whole wheat because the phytic acid is neutralized and the aflatoxins are neutralized by the germination of the wheat.
Germinated wheat bran is not available in the US. I have searched all of the Indian grocery stores online and cannot find any.
