2nd Burning Question: Does Lime juice with Honey make you lose weight?

This is the 2nd Burning Question from our “5″ Burning Question” Columns.

lime_juice_honeyThere is this wrong concept and rumor, that “Lime Juice with Honey” makes you lose weight. This is a wrong conception, which says that it helps in burning fat, Mobilising fat which is all a myth.

Lime juice is a very rich source of vitamin C which helps in boosting the imunity and is a “Liver Detoxifier” while “Honey” is a better form of sugar, which provides many Vitamins & Minerals and is an energy booster. which keeps us active throughout by enhancing our work performance therby resulting in calorie burn.

Start your day with lime juice with warm water and a teaspoon of honey in it and see how you move through your day charged well.

    I’ve never heard of starting the day with lime juice and hot water, for me i’ve always gone with lemon juice and hot water. Not so much as a weight loss thing but as an all round sytem booster and found highly effective at helping to fight off colds

    I heard of this lime and honey combination from my mum whom told me its good to start the day with it. It does help with bowel movement though. I have just started this practice :)

    I want to know what if mu Bilirubin content of liver is high? say 2.7 in a 1.3-1.5 range.
    What diets should I follow to keeps it normal?
